The rules governing your use of Zuma.
By downloading, installing or using the Zuma Super App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Zuma account. By registering, you confirm you are of legal age in your country of residence.
Your phone number is your primary identifier and login credential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your PIN and verification codes confidential. Report suspected unauthorised access immediately to support@zuma.app.
The Zuma Wallet is a stored-value electronic money account. All prices are displayed in your local currency (KES, UGX, or TZS). Platform commission rates are disclosed at checkout. Wallet funds are segregated in ring-fenced trust accounts at licensed financial institutions. Funds are not covered by deposit insurance schemes.
Zuma is a marketplace and technology platform connecting customers with independent service providers (drivers, restaurants, vendors, pharmacies, agents, employers, freelancers). Zuma is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of goods and services provided by independent partners. We maintain dispute resolution processes and escrow protection to protect all parties.
The Zuma name, logo, app design, and content are owned by Zuma Technologies Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any Zuma intellectual property without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zuma's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the transaction value of the specific order in dispute. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya, unless you are resident in Uganda (Kampala Commercial Court) or Tanzania (Dar es Salaam Commercial Court). We encourage resolution through our in-app dispute process before litigation.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via app notification and email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
